At-Grade Septic System Installation
A type of septic system that's installed directly on top of the ground and absorbs waste into the soil. At-grade septic systems are similar to mound systems, but don't require sand fill.
- Includes a septic tank, pump tank, distribution system, and pressure distribution system
- An option when conventional systems are not suitable due to bedrock or high groundwater
- Not as versatile as mound or in-ground systems due to site limitations

Mound Septic System Installation
Mound systems are an option in areas of shallow soil depth, high groundwater, or shallow bedrock. A septic tank mound system is a technology used for treating and disposing of domestic wastewater in areas unsuitable for conventional septic tank soil absorption systems. Mounds are pressure-dosed sand filters placed above, and discharging directly to, the natural soil. Their main purpose is to provide additional treatment to the wastewater before it enters the natural environment.

City Sewer Lateral Line Installation
A city sewer lateral line is a pipe that carries wastewater from drains and toilets to the main sewer line. The process of installing a city sewer lateral line involves cleaning, preparing, and lining the sewer pipe.
- City sewer lines are buried deeper than residential sewer lines to allow wastewater to flow downhill
- Installation of a city sewer lateral line must be done by a licensed and approved contractor
- Wendt's Septic & Plumbing is licensed and fully insured.

Holding Tank Septic System Installation
A holding tank septic system is a system that receives and stores sewage from a home until it can be pumped out. A holding tank is a watertight container that receives wastewater from a home through an inlet valve. The tank is buried underground and has a lid at the top for a professional to pump out the wastewater. Holding tanks are used when municipal or on-site wastewater treatment is not practical.
- Holding tanks need to be emptied every one to four weeks
- This type of sewage disposal often has an alarm that goes off when the tank is 75% full to prevent overflows
- Can last 20–40 years if it is properly installed, maintained, and used
